Jennifer Anderson graduated from Towson University with a B.A. in political science in 2003. She graduated from Widener University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2007. During law school, Jennifer served as a member of Widener University’s Law Review and also as a member of Widener University’s Moot Court Honor Society, competing in national competitions.
Shortly after being admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 2007, Jennifer focused her practice on family law. She strives to provide quality and professional legal services while maintaining client communications and accessibility, responding promptly, respecting client confidences, negotiating when possible but litigating when necessary, and satisfying the economic and emotional goals of the client.

Stuart C. Axilbund was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Vassar College and graduated cum laude in 1983 with a degree in political science. Afterwards, he attended The University of Maryland School of Law where he was an assistant editor of the Maryland Journal of International Law and Trade. While attending law school, Mr. Axilbund served as an intern with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Upon graduation, Mr. Axilbund worked at Shapiro & Olander (now Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler) doing family law and insurance regulatory litigation. Afterwards, he worked for a United States Bankruptcy Trustee, conducting bankruptcy hearings at the Garmatz Federal Courthouse in Baltimore. In 1992, Mr. Axilbund opened his own practice, and today focuses exclusively on family law issues. In 2011, he and his law partner, Jennifer Anderson, formed Anderson & Axilbund, LLC with the goal of providing top-tier legal services to clients in cases involving divorce, separation, custody, child support, and the division of marital assets.
Mr. Axilbund is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and is a past panel chair for the Maryland Health Claims Arbitration Office. Currently, Mr. Axilbund serves on the Baltimore County Lawyers Assistance Program Committee and volunteers with his son at the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum.
